"Appreciation and Gratitude: A Labour Day Jamboree"

"Work is not just about making a living; it's about making a life." - Denis Waitley

On Labour Day, students from grades I and II convened to honor the hard work and dedication of the unsung heroes who play a vital role in our daily lives. The day commenced with a special assembly organized by grade 2E, which effectively set the tone for a meaningful celebration filled with appreciation and gratitude.

The assembly commenced with a prayer. Following this, the students presented news and provided insightful explanations regarding the significance of labor in our society. A sincere expression of gratitude was extended to our dedicated nannies, who play an essential role in nurturing and caring for our children. Each nanny received a rose, symbolizing our appreciation for their unwavering efforts.

The assembly progressed with an interactive quiz that engaged the students, allowing them to demonstrate their understanding of Labour Day. This was followed by children performing a song on Labour Day, which highlighted the students' creativity and enthusiasm for the celebration.

After the assembly, the students showed their appreciation through art. They created beautiful collages for their class nannies, adorned with thank-you notes and heartfelt messages. Additionally, the students prepared greeting cards for the nannies and housekeeping staff, acknowledging their contributions to our school community.

The Labour Day celebration wrapped up on a joyful note, leaving the students feeling enthusiastic and thankful for the hard work and commitment of workers in our lives. This festive event highlighted the significance of valuing and respecting the contributions of everyone who plays a role in our everyday experiences.
