Dog Show

August 29, 2025

“Until one has loved an animal, a part of one’s soul remains unawakened.”

– Anatole France

To instill compassion towards animals and highlight Sustainable Development Goal 15 – Life on Land, a Dog Show was organised on Tuesday, 26th August 2025, for the students of EYP1, EYP2 and EYP3.

The event began with prayers, followed by a warm welcome to the participating parents. A student from EYP3 presented planters to the parents, symbolising gratitude. Two parents then introduced their beloved canine companions and shared delightful stories of life with their pets.

The children were excited to meet a Golden Retriever, Tibetan Terrier and a Beagle. Listening to the owners describe their pets’ routines, favourite activities and traits helped the little ones understand what it means to care for an animal responsibly. With gentle guidance from the pet owners, the students also learnt how to interact safely and respectfully with animals.

The experience was both joyful and educational, leaving the children with a deeper sense of empathy, love and respect for all living beings. The Dog Show not only provided a memorable day of interaction with these lovable companions but also reinforced the importance of building a harmonious relationship with nature.
