To encourage children to practice etiquette and social skills in an authentic environment, the students of EYP1, EYP2 and EYP3 visited ‘Bikanervala’ for a ‘Manner Development Outing’ on Tuesday, 12th May, Wednesday, 13th May and Thursday, 14th May 2026 respectively. The outing aimed to help children learn table manners and etiquette, while also developing confidence and awareness about appropriate behaviour in public places.
The day began with seeking the blessings of the Almighty. Thereafter, the norms to be followed during the outing were reiterated and the children were guided on the importance of greeting others politely, speaking courteously, waiting patiently, following appropriate table manners and thanking the staff members serving them.
At the venue, the children were warmly welcomed by the staff and were served a delicious breakfast, which they thoroughly enjoyed. The little ones displayed exemplary behaviour throughout the outing by greeting the staff warmly, using polite expressions and conducting themselves with confidence and discipline.
The outing proved to be a meaningful learning experience that strengthened the children’s understanding of etiquette, respectful behaviour and appropriate social conduct in public settings.
